Richmond Regional Transit Vision Plan - Public Input Meeting

Your presence is needed at any one of the upcoming public meetings for the Richmond Regional Transit Vision Plan. Our witness and feedback is critically important to the success of this visioning process and helping inform its recommendations. Meeting details are below:

6-8 pm Wednesday, March 9
North Park Library
8508 Franconia Road, 23227

6-8 pm Thursday, March 10
Ramsey United Methodist Church
5900 Hull Street Road, 23224

6-8 pm Monday, March 14
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
2300 W. Broad Street, 23269

Meeting format will be the same each night, and it will likely entail open house from 6-8 pm, but including a presentation at 7 pm. Attendees have the opportunity to provide key input about where a metro-wide transit system should run. Our movement for metro-wide transit has been advocating in particular for the Jefferson Davis Corridor (Rt 1) down to John Tyler Community College as well as the Broad Street Corridor (Rt 250) to Short Pump.

For more info on next steps to region-wide transit, see "What's next for BRT?" from RVANews.
