Better Bus Stop Program

The Better Bus Stops Logo (5).png

Do you believe bus riders deserve dignified places to wait?
The Better Bus Stop Program seeks to improve bus stops throughout the Richmond region’s public transit system. These improvements include advocating for more shelters and shade, benches and trash cans. Through our community initiative Adopt a Stop, we also focus on helping keep bus stops clean of any litter and safe to use.

Whether you are a rider looking to better your bus stop, a donor looking to help support better bus stops, or just someone wanting to add more dignity for all who use our neighborhood streets and bus system alike, please fill out the RVA Rapid Transit Adopt-A-Stop Agreement Form.

Check out the map of Adopted Stops across our Region!

Adopters please track your progress through the adopter’s diary (click below)

Thank you to everyone who has adopted a stop so far!
